Acerca de Validador XML

Validate XML documents

Well-formed XML has correctly nested elements, quoted attributes, one document root, and valid syntax. That is different from schema validation: a document can be well formed while still failing an application-specific XSD or business rule.

Cómo usar esta herramienta de desarrollo

  1. Paste the XML document into the validator.
  2. Run validation and go to the reported line and column when a parse error appears.
  3. After syntax is valid, run the schema or application checks required by the system that will consume the document.

Privacidad y tratamiento de datos

XML parsing runs locally and does not intentionally fetch external entities or resources. Use a reduced sample when the document contains personal data or credentials.

Preguntas frecuentes

Does valid XML mean the data is correct?

No. This tool checks syntax and well-formedness. Required fields, types, namespaces, and business rules need separate validation.

Why is the error reported after the real mistake?

A missing quote, closing tag, or delimiter can make the parser lose its place; inspect the reported location and the preceding markup first.

Does the validator load external entities?

The browser-side workflow is designed for local parsing without external resource requests. Still avoid unknown documents and review the page's processing notice.
