Privacy Policy

Effective August 9, 2026. This policy explains what information Dev Fun processes and the choices available to you.

1. Scope

This Privacy Policy applies to the Dev Fun website, its browser-based developer utilities, and related service endpoints. By using the service, you acknowledge the practices described here.

2. Information processed by our tools

Most Dev Fun utilities process text, files, and settings locally in your browser. For locally processed tools, we do not intentionally transmit the content you enter to our servers. Tools that require server-side or network access are identified in the interface; data submitted to those tools is sent only as needed to provide the requested result.

Please do not enter secrets, private keys, production credentials, personal records, or other highly sensitive information unless you have independently determined that the tool and processing mode are appropriate.

3. Information collected automatically

When you visit, our hosting and security providers may process standard technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, requested URL, referring page, timestamps, and diagnostic or security events. We use this information to deliver the site, prevent abuse, investigate failures, and understand aggregate service performance.

4. Browser storage

Dev Fun uses local browser storage for preferences such as language, theme, sidebar state, favorites, and recently used tools. This information stays on your device unless your browser, an extension, or another service synchronizes it. You can remove it through your browser settings.

5. Advertising and Google AdSense

We may use Google AdSense to display advertising. Google and its partners may use cookies, web beacons, IP addresses, or similar technologies to serve, measure, personalize, and limit ads, subject to your region and consent choices. Google may use information from visits to this and other sites for advertising purposes.

You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services in Google’s partner-sites policy, manage ad personalization in My Ad Center, and review other opt-out choices at YourAdChoices.

6. How we use information

  • Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve Dev Fun.
  • Remember device-local preferences.
  • Respond to support, privacy, and legal requests.
  • Measure traffic and, when enabled, deliver and measure advertising.
  • Comply with law and enforce our terms.

7. Sharing

We do not sell the contents you submit to our tools. We may share limited information with hosting, security, analytics, advertising, and other service providers acting for the purposes described above; when required by law; to protect users or the service; or as part of a business reorganization. Third-party services process information under their own terms and policies.

8. Retention and security

Device-local preferences remain until you clear them. Operational logs are retained only as reasonably necessary for security, diagnostics, legal compliance, and service administration. We use reasonable safeguards, but no internet service can guarantee absolute security.

9. Your choices and rights

You can block or delete cookies, clear local storage, use browser privacy controls, and adjust Google advertising preferences. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection concerning personal information. Contact us to submit a request; we may need to verify your identity.

10. Children

Dev Fun is intended for a general developer audience and is not directed to children under 13, or the minimum age required by local law. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through account registration because the service does not offer user accounts.

11. International processing and changes

Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate legal mechanisms apply. We may update this policy as the service or law changes; the effective date above shows the latest revision.

12. Contact

Questions or privacy requests can be sent to [email protected]. You may also use our contact page.
