Does a QR code hide the text inside it?
No. A QR code is a visual encoding. Anyone who scans it can usually recover the embedded text or URL.
Why does scanning need camera permission?
The browser needs permission to read camera frames. You can use upload or paste instead when camera access is unavailable or not appropriate.
Can every QR image be decoded?
Only when the code is large and clear enough, has sufficient contrast, and is not too damaged or distorted for the decoder to recover it.
